Bruce, we had this problems and our tech repair person figured it out. You
have to go to the Control Panel and shut off both Modern Mem Mgr and Virtual
Mem (or names something like that). Then reboot, holding down shift to avoid
loading in the extensions. Now you should be able to install! Then you'll
have to go back and set up the memory as it was before you started and then
restart to get your extensions back. Hope it works--write directly if it
doesn't.
