We purchase an Iomega Zip Drive in October and both extra disks at the same
time. We have no trouble getting them. I do not know about more recently.
We like what we see of this periperal so far. We downloaded all of our
students work for the previous year for saving. Now our fileserver is
ready for another year. We also have a teacher whose classes have done a
number of Hyperstudio projects and this seems to be the answer for being
able to show them on machines that are not connected to the file server.
We have a Color Stylewriter 2400 and have been satisfied with the quality
of printing. It is slow (the newer models are several times faster I
understand). One thing to be aware of is that we cannot put it on our
network because it is not localtalk or ethernet compatible. Check me out
on this--do not take my word for it. I have had no experience with the
Hewlett Packard so I cannot compare.
