Introduction -- Bryon Phinney

I am the computer coordinator for the Oak Hill United School Corp. a rural
K-12 school system consisting of three elementaries, a jr. high and high
school. We have a computer lab with 25 workstations in each elementary school
and two labs in both the jr. high and high schools. In addition the libraries
in the jr. high and high school have workstations for accessing the CD ROM
servers. Each office also is networked. Every lab and office is networked
using Netware versions 2.2 or 3.12. We are also using IBM's ICLAS LAN
administration system.

My responsibilities include maintenance of the systems; evaluation of the
needs; design of and installation of new LANs; training; backup proceedures;
security.

I am one semester into this position. My prior employment was a systems
administrator at a public library and a service tech at a computer retail
store.
