My husband's university, Saginaw Valley State University, does just
that. We purchased our two computers that way. They would loan us the
cost of the computer if we paid 10% of the purchase cost. Then it was
payroll deducted for two years at no interest. It has been great. We
plan to take advantage of the program again later this year.
