Good advice and hard to argue with the pro..he's probably right...but if
you like to go the distance...

Get "Silver Lining" from LeCie (or is it LaCie). They advertise in most Mac
related Magazines. It will mount almost everything. Try to do a low level
format..not initialization..it may or may not work...but then you will know
for sure.

I have had a lot of luck recovering "lost" drives with Silver Lining and
think it sould be in everyones utilities file.

By the way I have nothing to do with LaCie.
