As an urban, research-based graduate school, we have extensive resources
of interest to educators and educational researchers. These include
Instructional Technology Connections; scholarly publications by students
and faculty; an online helpdesk for new users who wish to become part of
the Internet virtual community of learners; collections of K-12
resources emphasizing lesson plans and staff development; tutorials on
building home pages and sharing information; search engines; timely lists
of calls for papers and participation in professional conferences; and the
like.
We have on-line descriptions of all our academic programs, including our
new portfolio-based Ph.D. program in Educational Leadership and Innovation,
and our school-wide Initial Teacher Education program. We also offer
nearly a dozen focused M.A. programs including Information and Learning
Technologies; Language, Literacy and Culture; Counseling Psychology and
Counselor Education; Special Education; Educational Psychology;
Administration, Supervision, and Curriculum Development; and many others.
