Several weeks ago Craig Nansen mentioned Exposure Pro software. Does anyone
have the address/phone number/price? Sorry to bother the whole list, but i was
unsuccessful in trying to reach him. My mail came back

Thanks,

Libby,

I've had the same problem many times. Do you have the program called Norton
Utilities? It has a Emergency Disk that checks and repairs the hard disk on
your system. I have had damaged system files a few times. After you run
Norton Disk Doctor (which is a program on the Emergency Disk)and it fixes
the problems it finds on the HD Drive, the Disk Tools should bring up your
hard drive. Then follow these steps:

1. Locate and open the System Folder on your startup disk.
2. Select and drag the damaged System and Finder icons from your startup
disk to the trash. Empty the trash
3. Choose shut down from the special menu.
4. Start up with your Apple system Software Installer disk or the Install
Me first CD.
5. Install the minimum system software on your startup disk.

This has worked for me several times. If you do not have the program Norton
Utilities I'm not sure what you can do. I purchased the program and have
used it quite often where I teach. I maintain about 30 Macintosh computers.
It has been one of my best purchases! Hope this helps..If not-good luck!

I am a computer teacher and a district technology mentor teacher with
aspirations of a district computer or technology coordinator or director
position. I'm going back to get a Masters and an Administrative Credential.
The ideal situation would be a Masters in Computer Technology but it seems
that with getting the masters at the same time as the administrative
credential I'll end up with a Masters in Educational Administration. Any
advice would be helpful from those of you who have this type of position or
hire for these positions. What are you looking for? I know 10 years of
computer experience, workshops, and conferences is not enough and the
masters and credentials matter.
