The Roman Institute at the University of
Koblenz-Landau, Germany, wants to contact schools, universities and similar
institutes for exchanging experiences in the following fields
- using computer labs for language learning (especially French)
at schools and at universities
- using and evaluating French learning software
and for
- exchanging addresses and public domain software
In order to get an overview first we would like you to give the following
information:
- Who is responsible for your computer lab?
name of the institution/person + address (if possible
e-mail address)
- What kind of computers do you use?
number of computers, their properties: processor, memory und
hard disk drive capacity, CD-ROM (?), sound card (?),
network (?), additional features for language learning
(e.g. tandberg network)
- Which standard software do you use?
operating system (+ graphical user interface),
network software, common applications
- Which learning software do you use?
name, short description (1-2 lines), publisher's address
If you send us any kind of information about your local computer lab for
learning French, we will send back to you a summary of all replies and
a description of the computer lab at the University of Koblenz
