In our satellite class delivery we're using a product similar to
what you're looking for; students enter numeric or multiple
choice responses, which come back to us via data line. This one
also includes a microphone, so they can talk to us; you probably
won't need that for local use, so I don't know whether the
pricing would be reasonable for you.
