Apple's policy of not allowing discounters to sell to schools has hit us
as well. I thought it had something to do with clauses in the group buy
contract our district has with Apple, by which we get Apple products at
the "educational discount". It has caused irritation here as well. I
doesn't seem to be a great time for Apple to tick off the community that
is likely to become the most imortant part of its future nitche market,
but what do I know?
