Request for info: Printers for Media Center

I am planning the purchases for a new Media Center now. I will have a
network with a meridian tower and several CD roms networked as well as the
computer catalog. In a Media Center the students usually have very limited
time to get their material or print out their information and move on the
the next class. Printer can be the biggest time killer in my day. I would
like something mostly for text but can do graphics , quiet and is
economical to use and maintain. I understand that the laser printers are
actually less expensive to run than the ink jet printers because the
cartridge lasts longer. I have ordered an HP 855C for the Macs. I would
like recommendations for purchasing printers to go on the network.
