A colleague of mine who runs the Effective Communicative Skills program
here is working on a compilation of WorldWide Web sites that focus on
teaching or assisting writing at the postsecondary level. This could
include style guides, on-line writing labs, tutorials, technical
communications or other business & professional writing sites, etc.

She is explicitly NOT looking for sites that are marketing a commercial
product that has to be bought separately, but rather those that use the
Web to provide an on-line resource. I have a (very) modest collection
of such URLs myself, but am interested in what sites actual effective
writing students or professionals have found most useful.

Please respond to me personally, so as not to clutter the list. I will
be sure to post the URL to the links page she puts up once it is on-
