Pretty good $300 units. Can be hooked to PCs or Macs (notice that many
new Macs now come with non-detachable keyboard connectors that makes the
connection of the Alphasmart a little more difficult...have to go to back
of the unit now). The device is lightweight, holds a considerable amount
of typed text in ascii form that can be uploaded to a computer. Small LCD
rectangular screen on the top of the Alphasmart to view several lines of
text...can't see a whole page.
