There already is a 486 based DOS card for PowerMacs. You can get it from
Apple for about $600 (educational discount). I'm running it in the machine
on my desktop. In March, though, there is supposed to be a Pentium based
card released.
>The only Apple solution right now is the LC 630/DOS which is the last of
>the 68040 Macs, but it is a great machine. I am working on one right now,
>and I have an LC 5300 at my disposal.
There is also the PowerMacintosh 6100/DOS Compatible, which is what I use,
as well as the Macintosh Performa 640 CD DOS Compatible.
