We are planning to do a requirements analysis in light of the new browser
enabled PDS's coming into the market place.
I believe we need three levels (which includes Mac and PC platforms):
1. Low end $300 - $600 level PDA's which are Internet, email, and browser
enabled.
2. Mid level notebook computers, under $2,000
3. High end notebook computers.
Our plan is to provide more Internet access to students through dial in
services and directly from various buildings/residence halls on campus.
They will be able to "plug" into our LAN (which has Internet access). We
currently have a mechanism for all students to have email and Internet
access now.
