Education technology collaboration

Hi folks --

I'm looking for information on effective collaboration among instructional
development experts, educational technology experts and curriculum experts
(likely the instructors). (I apologise if you recieve this request multiple
time, as I have sent it to several related listservs.)

I'll explain the context. Simon Fraser University is trying to improve its
development and implementation of educational technologies. I've been
asked to find exemplary cases to try to ensure that we are not reinventing
the wheel or ignoring the good ideas that others have developed.

I'm defining exemplary using four criteria: 1) uses sound pedagogy; 2)
makes the good use of appropriate technologies; 3) presents a suitable
curriculum for the course subject and level; and 4) is liked and used by
the faculty who teach with it and the students who learn from it.
Seemingly a tall order. I'm looking for about a half-dozen cases so that I
can present a spectrum of practices and products.

curriculum, instructional and technology experts collaborate? How was the
project structured, implemented and tested? Second, what was the nature of
the project? What was produced?

I've been able to find lots of information about the new educational
technologies being produced, but little to indicate if they are
'successful' or to indicate how they were developed.

If you have been involved in an exemplary process, know of someone who was
(or is), or know of any published work in this area, please let me know.
All leads are gratefully accepted. I'll happily distribute the URL if
people are interested in the final report.

Many thanks
