The principal at my school has come up with a problem that I have never
seen before and am having trouble solving.
He is using a Mac 5300 and an internal Teleport 14.4 modem. He dials in
with MacSLIP to our internet service provider. MacSLIP and MacTCP both
seem to be configured properly.(they match the configurations that I use at
home) The MacSLIP seems to work fine and a connection is made. He is able
to run his browser(Netscape) over this connection with no problems. When
he launches Eudora, it goes out and fetches his mail OK. He is even able
to send short messages out with no trouble. The problems arise when he
tries to send a message that is over 6 lines long. Eudora starts to send
and then keeps trying, but never gets the message out.
I have trashed Eudora and installed a brand new copy. No help...
I have increased Eudora's memory allocation to 3meg. No help....
Any ideas out there on what I could try next.
Thanks in advance.....JohnB
