This year I'll be teaching a course called "Exploring Technology" which will
explore the effects of technology on society. As part of this, I want to
use computers as research/production tools and I'd like my students to
share their ideas and research with the class by creating interactive
multi-media reports. (One object is to demonstrate to teachers that writing
is not the only presentation method for research).
The computer teacher in our middle school loves and recommends Hyperstudio,
but the student work I've seen seems unpolished. Can Hyperstudio be used
to create finished reports (ones that would impress high school teachers as
serious work?) or would you recommend I look toward business presentation
programs?
