I'm curious too... just what is this Computer Literacy... I suppose it
assumes a common thread must exist between these diverse machines.

In a typical day I do work on Unix boxes, AS400's, Windows, win95, and even
an occasional Mac.... some are on LANS, Routers, or standalones... If I
were to teach Computer Literacy to these people - what would I teach...
AS400 people don't talk to Unix people... DOS/Windows users don't talk to
the Unix folks or 400. Most of them seem to learn their application and
thats about it.

I know this sounds as if I'm being facetious... I'm really quite serious. I
suppose the keyboards are a small bit in common... but that's about it.

I realise many people would somehow like to christen "Computer Literacy" as
some type of Academic Discipline... but is it' And if so how...
