Jim,
I have and still use copies of PageMaker 4.2, 5.0, and 6.0. I can't see a
print preview option on any of them. However, it is possible to see a view
of the entire page simply by changing the view option. That would be
similar to a print preview. Pull down the layout menu, select view, and
select the size you want the page displayed in.
You can also, however, print thumbnails of the pages. Pull down the file
menu, select Print, click on Paper, and click the radio button in front of
Thumbnails. You can also select how many thumbnails per page you want.
In truth, I can't see why PageMaker needs a print preview option. With the
View option you can see your page exactly as it is going to be printed as a
full page (using Fit in Window), reduced to as small as 25% of actual size,
or blown up to 400% of actual. Isn't that better than most print previews?
