Maree--

A little more information, please. What is the content of the learning in
such a classroom? If it is a "computer" class (e.g., Business Document
Formatting, Multimedia Development, etc.), the the number of computers
should match the number of students. If it is a writing lab, then the
number of computers should match the number of students. If it is a history
class or a math class, then such a ratio would probably need to be
calculated with other factors thrown in -- such as grade level, type of
learning activities designed for the course, experience level of the
teacher and his/her familiarity with integrating technology resources into
learning activities, etc.
