Disconnecting Freeppp"s Auto Dialer

I just downloaded FreePPP on my Mac last night and am very pleased with it.
However, I cannot figure out how to switch off the automatic dialer (hard
close in the old 2.0.1 version of ConfigPPP). The new control panel
doesn't have it and the new version of ConfigPPP just has a Close, not a
hard close and soft close, like the old version does.
