R.E. comments on LCD panels. I have recently seen demos on projectors for
use with computers. They are similar ot slide projectors in that they
projects the image onto a screen from a table top. But, even with full room
lighting we were able to see the image clearly.

One bonus: they can do Mac or PC.

One disadvantage: they are more expensive than LCD panels.
