LCD panels versus other ways

Many of you have commented on the need for room darkness when using an
OH and an LCD panel.
Another way to display monitor images is to use a device such as an
Averkey (brand name) or the unit that Apple makes. With a large screen TV,
this is a cheaper way to show an entire group what appears on the screen in
a room that has ** regular ** lighting.
Because of the problems in trying to darken a classroom (impossible in my
middle school building without blackout shades which we don't have), we've
chosen to use this method instead of more expensive and less effective OHs
and LCDs. Edith LaForge
