I am going to reply to the EDTECH list and not individually because I think
the following may be useful to a number of people, not just for itself, but
to show that up here in Canada we can be quite organised, and in this
instance ahead of a number of situations in the US.

In reply to the above I would suggest looking up the Ministry of Education
here in British Columbia, Canada. They have an excellent home page for the
CLN (Community Learning Network of the Technology and Distance Education
Branch of the Ministry. It can be found at

http://www.etc.bc.ca/tdebhome/cln.html

Within that site you will find a reference to IRP's, Integreated Resource
Packages, and in particular "Applied Skills K - 7 - Technology Education
Component.

Also worth checking is the web site of the Coquitlam School District at
http://www.schdist43.bc.ca

There go to About Us, then Technology Plan and also District Resources
(library home Page).

If anyone does check these out I'd appreciate your views and opinions.
