I highly recommend the Kodak DC50. It has zoom and autofocus features, and
has PC cards. PC cards allow you to save the photos you take onto a
business card sized memory device, and to swap them when they get full with
pictures.

Cortland District (Central NY) has 3 of them. We also have 2 DC40s. These
are cheaper and do not autofocus or zoom, now have the PC card features.

Figure on 600 for the DC40 and 875 for the DC50. PC memory is extra.
