ISDN comes two ways. One 64 kb link or two "bonded" linkes with twice the
bandwidth.

If you get one 64 kb it will not be fast, but it will work and it is much
better than not connecting all the computers.

For the past two years, I have been running a 30 station lab and several
office computers on a 56 kb line. It was slow, but it was working and the
kids don't know it could be faster anyway.

Today we upgraded to 336 kb Fraction T1, which is faster and more in tune
to our load. I guess that within a year or so more, I'll be pushing to
upgrade to a full T1 (24 times the 56kb we started with). You never have
enough bandwidth or money.
