Apple LaserWriter Bridge software does the same thing. It comes on the
apple Network Installation Disc. It is free and can connect at least 8
localTalk printers to an ethernet

One must do a custom install and find LaserWriter Bridge at the bottom of
the list of item that may be installed.
There is a patch that allows it to be used with PCI mac if that is the case
in your lab.
