Be aware that the LitePro 570s actually have only a 640x480 display matrix
and have to compress higher-resolutionimages by dropping or averaging
pixels.
We purchased LitePro 570s for use on mobile computer stations and to date
haven't been able to get them to work with 800x600 displays. When the
sales rep demonstrated the unit, they performed "as advertised", but by
the time we bought them, we had begun using a different CPU (DEC Pentium)
and the LitePro units would not switch to their 800x600 mode. They'll show
640x480 from the 800x600, but won't do it all. At the sales
rep's suggestion, we tried using some other video drivers, but to no
avail. InFocus tech support wasn't able to offer a solution either.
We are continuing to seek a solution, but haven't found one so far. Until
then, the mobile systems have to stay at 640x480.
So... I guess the message here is to be sure any demos you have are run on
the computers you'll actually be using.
