Chuck,
I'm on the list with the same problem. When your CPU locks up do a "Command-
Control-PowerOn" to restart. I finally found someone who had the 14 files
necessary to fix the bugs. You can download these from
support.info.apple.com/update/ or www-
mirror.cac.washington.edu/apple/US_sw_updates/. I gave up trying to download
them, as I am on a slow line, good luck!

PS. I have found that the 14 files don't fix all the "type 11" errors! I'm not
happy with Apple right now!
