Info on Real applications of Multimedia Networks

I'm gathering information for an article that I'm writing (and a
presentation that I'm going to give) on the distribution of full-motion
video/audio via data networks (or through some other digital path) in schools
and corporate training facilities to multiple simulatenous users. I need
case studies and detailed information (including costs) and vendors.
Who's making systems like these, how much do they really cost and what
are people's experiences. What kinds of functionality is provided
(not marketing hype)?

Any help would be appreciated.
