Zip drive or internals

Fello EdTech'ers,

Our district technology committee is deciding on whether we are going to
upgrade our MAC LC II collection that we have in the district (more
storage memory). We are looking at either a 850 MB internal drive or an
external Zip drive with one 100 MB cartridge.

Suggestions as to which way we should go? With the Zip drive it is about
$15 per additional 100MB of storage I guess is the current going price.
Zip cartridges I know are movable and the Zips can be used on a network
(maybe less Zip drives... rather than one per computer?). Just some
ideas there.

So, I am looking for ideas, suggestions, input, etc. as to what way we
should go if we decide to upgrade the computers. You can mail me
directly if you wish, and I will make a summary to the list at a later date.

Thanks much! :-)
