PUBLICATIONS

Legal literacy is a component of the programme by FIDA and under it FIDA seeks to educate in a simple a form as possible all those who are interested in their programmes.

FIDA has tried to reduce pertinent Laws to their simplest forms eliminating as far as possible all technical language so as to make the Laws understandable to all sections of the reading public.

They are not meant for lawyers or as a basis for legal arguents in court but for the lay people in society.

The series cover the laws that affect women and will be gradually extended to cover as many of Ghanaian laws as are necessary.

Included in some of the publications by FIDA are

A handbook on the intestate Succession Law PNDCL111.
A Handbook on Wills in Ghana.
A handbook on Domestic Violence in Ghana.

Some of the Laws have also been translated into some of the local dialects like Twi, Ga, Ewe and Dagbani.
