Subscription Instructions

To subscribe to H-CLC, send the following message to LISTSERV@H-NET.MSU.EDU:

        SUB H-CLC First Name Last Name Affiliation

How to Use H-CLC

1. To send a message to all the people currently subscribed to the list, just send mail to H-CLC@H-NET.MSU.EDU. Your message will be automatically intercepted and sent to the moderators, who will decide whether to post it. Please be sure to sign your message (with your name, email address and affiliation at the START of your message.)

If you REPLY to a message from H-CLC, your reply does NOT go to the person who wrote the message. It goes to the moderator instead. (Use your SEND or WRITE command to write individuals.)

2. All subscription commands should go to: LISTSERV@H-NET.MSU.EDU. These commands include:

         UNSUB H-CLC (erases your name from the rolls)
         SET H-CLC NOMAIL (temporarily turns off mail)
         SET H-CLC MAIL   (turns mail back on again)
         SET H-CLC DIGEST (gives you one long message every day,
               containing the full text of the days' posts.)
         INDEX H-CLC (shows the list of files and logs)
         GET H-CLC LOG9409b (gets logs= all messages posted in
               year 1994, month 9 = Sept, week b = 2nd week)
