Back in June, there was discussion on this list about the proceedings
from Gettysburg College's Civil War Institute. At that time, it was
noted that Oxford University Press had printed the proceedings from
the 1991 Institute, but that apparently was all then available.
Nothing was known to be available on-line.
By way of update, Oxford has just published _Lincoln's Generals_, edited
by Gabor Boritt, which appears to be papers from the 1993 Institute.
The topic that year was "Lincoln and His Lieutenants: Command
Relations." The book contains chapters covering McClellan (Sears),
Hooker (Neely), Meade (Boritt), Grant (Simon), and Sherman (Fellman).
I have just ordered a copy and believe it will be in the stores in the
next few weeks.
