I am looking for information on the original Iron Brigade.
Research seems to indicate that the original name was applied to four New
York regiments of Hatch's /Phelps brigade. I am aware of info in Fox's
Regimnetal Losses, and the footnotes in Nolan's Iron Brigade. Need any
other source, esp. letters, regimental histories, diaries, etc. Will pay
for copying and other expenses, and will be very grateful for help.
