Re: IU Press Gopher Server and IUPRESSL
Indiana University Press is pleased to announce the establishment of the
following two electronic resources:
1) The IU Press Gopher is now online. The IUP Gopher includes
information on many topics such as editorial policy, review copy
procedures, placing orders, journals, and book series. Our entire trade
list is available, and visitors may either browse the list by author or
title or may search by keyword. Two smaller databases are devoted to
books we distribute for the British Film Institute and the Indiana
Historical Society. In addition, our entire Fall1994 catalog may be
accessed by subject area or keyword search.
In future the IU Press Gopher will include subject catalogs, press
releases, and more detailed information about individual IUP titles.

2) Announcing IUPRESSL -- The Indiana University Press List
Would you like to receive up-to-date information about Indiana
University Press publications and activities via email? If so, you may
now subscribe to our list, IUPRESSL.
Many of the messages on IUPRESSL will duplicate information covered in our
regular mailings and catalogs, but we will also include late-breaking news
and press releases. As the list becomes more established, we will send out
any number of items we think will be of interest to our subscribers. For
those of you already inundated with electronic mail, rest assured that
communiques from IUPRESSL will rarely exceed 2 to 3 messages per week.
IUPRESSL is a one-way list; that is, you may only receive messages from
the list, not post to it. If you would like to correspond with Indiana
University Press we ask that you address your messages to our general
email account: iupress@indiana.edu.
