The short answer is that the map you have is certainly based on a wartime
map (Comstock served on Grant's staff), but you might first want to check
the atlas that accompanied the OFFICIAL RECORDS to make sure that it was
not taken from there. If not, then I think you are safe in assuming that
it is an 1863 map (without evidence to the contrary).
