HAPPY NEW YEAR!
As a New Years present to ourselves, I would like to take this opportunity
to announce the creation of the H-CivWar Fileserv. This is a resource which
allows us to store documents for retreival at any time. For starters I have
created categories for articles, bibliographies, reviews, syllabi, and
miscellaneous net tools. I am open to other suggestions.
And of course I am open to other documents. Anyone with a professional
document can contact me at my personal address. Right now the fileserv
is a mere shell, with only a few documents -- but imagine how nice it
will look when your prize article, bibliography, review, or syllabus
graces our hallowed fileserv!
An additional resource is forthcoming -- the H-CivWar Civil War Era
Research Topic Clearinghouse. With the cooperation, inspiration, and
generous help of Richard Lowe, University of North Texas, H-CivWar is
gearing up to offer it's information storage capacities in the service
of a research topic clearinghouse. Stay tuned for details.
