Carl Moneyhon (History Dept., U. of Arkansas at Little Rock)
is involved in a joint research project to write a history of
Arkansas during the Civil War. He or one of his colleagues may be
able to point you in the right direction for the papers of Stirman
and Skelton (if the papers exist).
