End of fall term notice:
It will soon be the end of the fall term in the USA.
People who will be away from the holidays can set their
H-Net messages by sending the following command to
LISTSERV@UICVM.UIC.EDU [Internet]
or LISTSERV@UICVM [Bitnet]:
set H-CivWar NOMAIL
(Plus) -a separate line for each H-Net list you subscribe to.
--On return, send this message:
set H-CivWar MAIL
Remember that all the H-net lists have the DIGEST option, which
allows you to receive all your mail once a day instead of all
throughout the day as it comes in. If you want to invoke this
command, send the following message to Listserv@uicvm.uic.edu
or Listserv@uicvm:
set H-CivWar DIGEST
Remember, however, that using the digest function makes it more
difficult to read and respond to individual messages.
If you want to leave a service altogether, mail the listserv
with the following command:
unsub H-CivWar
