Try a book, with the somewhat misleading title of "God and General
Longstreet" reference historiographic analysis of Lee and the Lost Cause. It
is by Connelly--beware the fact that the book is part of a debate of the
importance of the eastern and western theaters of war as one of many hidden
agendas.
