I've seen this set at the 1st Brigade Band's concerts for some time now.
Although I own a number of their cassettes I have not heard anything about
this.

I just chatted with the band's historian and narrator the other day and he
would be glad to speak with anyone caring to call him. This is the band
that followed Sherman to the sea so he has a lot of tales to tell. His name
is Ed Pierce and the phone no. is: 414/563-5202 (Fort Atkinson, WI).

Ed told me that the band's music is used on many of the episodes of a show
on A&E called ,"Civil War Journal"(Wednesday nights). They are credited
each week.

I can offer a personal guarantee as to the authenticity of the 1st
Brigade's own music, having just come from a position in the Rare Books
Department at UW-Madison; they hold the books that the original members carried
with
them and both Ed and the bandmaster have been in to copy music parts.
