My e-mail has been strange the past couple of weeks and I've missed much.

A recording I'd highly recommend is "19th Century Songs in War and Peace"
by the Gettysburg Vocal Ensemble. Not only does this recording contain
the well known ("Goober Peas", "Amazing Grace", "Little Brown Jug" but it
contains a recording of the "Dirge" sung at the consecration of the
Gettysburg Cemetery - the event better known for the Gettysburg Address.

Recording is only available in cassette version, and can be obtained at
the bookstore of the Gettysburg National Military Park and at other shops
in Gettysburg.
