Reenactors & rebels

On reenactors: my quibble is not with their handling of scripted parts --
thankfully, they rarely get any. It's with their stiff and overrehearsed
handling of battle scenes; as I pointed out, they have a parade-ground
approach to field maneuvers that protects their huge investment in uniforms
and weekend picnics. I remember when reenactors were used for Bull Run
scenes in, I think, either North & South, or Blue & Gray, and the result
was almost comical.
As for rebels: I wouldn't expect everyone to accept the label "rebels" for
Confederates. I would expect them to understand why some might think the
label fits.
