While I am ecstatic to see the rise of H-Teach, I'd just like
to inform list members that I will soon be launching a new list
out of the University of Missouri at Kansas City. This list will be
dedicated to the teaching of history and social studies at the secondary
and primary levels. It will be affiliated with the National Council for
the Social Studies, but will welcome subscriptions and discussion on
all issues related to history and social studies education. The name of
the list will be decided shortly. I just wanted to alert any high school
history teachers on this list (and other interested parties) that such a
list is in the works, and should debut within the next month.
