Cervantes: Bulletin of the Cervantes Society of America
Information on issues and pagination in the journal
Issues: The first issue of Cervantes was published in the Fall of 1981, and was a double issue, that is, for both the Fall and the Spring of that year. Since then the journal has been published twice a year, with Spring and Fall issues, with a rare special edition published in the Winter (1988 and 1996).
Pagination: Cervantes was somewhat inconsistent in its pagination in the first nine years of publication. For the first six years (1981-1986) it used consecutive pagination, that is: the Spring issue would start with page one, and the Fall issue would begin with the number after the last page in the Spring issue. In 1987 separate pagination was used for each issue, but in 1988 consecutive pagination was used for the Spring and Fall issues, but not the special Winter issue. Since 1989 separate pagination has been employed. The specific page numbers are given here:
*The pages taken up by the table of contents and abstracts were not included in the page numbering for these issues.
