  Dissertations in Business History

The Business History Conference is developing a Web site that will provide information about recent and in-progress dissertations in business history. We invite recent (those whose degree was granted in 1998 or later) and current doctoral candidates to submit the following information:
Name:
Email address:
Institution:
Dissertation title:
Date of degree (or expected):
Advisor and/or Committee:
JEL classification (optional; up to 3):
(see http://www.aeaweb.org/journal/elclasjn.html)
Abstract (c. 300 words):

Information should be sent via email to Pat Denault. We will begin to put up abstracts as soon as we have a dozen or so in hand and will continue to post them thereafter as they are received. The BHC reserves the right to decline to post abstracts in topics that are outside the bounds of business history, but we define the field quite broadly.

We are eager to include dissertations from non-US universities. Abstracts must be submitted in English, but fluency is not required; we will edit submissions as necessary to reflect proper English usage.
