There are basically three options to chose from when flying into Milan:
1. Malpensa Airport is the largest airport. It's the true international airport; most flights land and leave from there. It is,
however, a bit far from the city and is connected to the city center either by train (40 minutes) or by bus (more or less 1h). For
information on the train service see www.malpensaexpress.it.
2. Linate Airport is a smaller, international airport. It is much closer to the city center, although the only option is the bus (or
taxi). It takes more or less 20 minutes by cab to reach the Bocconi area. You will find a much smaller number of flights arriving and
leaving from Linate.
3. Bergamo (Orio al Serio). This is where most low-cost flights arrive. The airport is actually more than 1 hour from the city center
and the only connection is by bus.
Also see the attached map.
From/to Linate Airport
* By taxi it takes about 15 minutes and it costs approximately € 15.
* Public transport: take bus 73, get off at 5 Giornate and take tram 9 or 30 to Bligny/Bocconi. The bus ticket is € 1.00 and may be bought at tobacco shops and newspaper stands inside the airport.

The Malpensa Shuttle is a convenient bus, taking less than one hour to reach Stazione Centrale, Central Railway Station, from Malpensa
airport. It also connects Malpensa airport with Linate airport and Milan Fair. It runs every 20 minutes and the price of the ticket is € 5.
From/to Milan Central Railway Station to Orio al Serio Airport (Bergamo)
There is a shuttle bus leaving from Central Railway Station (Stazione Centrale). The trip lasts 1 hour in normal traffic conditions (please note that the road to Orio al Serio maybe very busy and it could take longer than 1 hour) . Buses leave every half an hour. Taxi
Taxi service is always available day and night at taxi ranks just outside the exits of the airport. This is for sure the fastest way to move around the city as taxis may drive on reserved lanes. It is possible to ask Bocconi reception to call a taxi or call directly at: +39.024040 or +39.028989
Public buses, trams and subway (Metro)
The ticket is valid on the whole Milan urban network for 75 minutes from validation but allows only one journey on the metropolitan railway. It is also valid within the rail throughway and on the urban sections of the Northern Railways and State Railways. You can buy day- pass tickets as well. Tickets are available at most news kiosks and tobacconists.
