It was written just after 1344/1925-26 at the request of Mirza Athar Khan Yazdani. Among the author's sources were two maternal uncles, his grandmother and mother, all of whom were relations of Mirza Husayn `Ali Baha' Allah and Mirza Yahya Subh-i Azal. This short history of 40 pages is particularly useful for the light it sheds on Babi theophanic theory and practice in the early 1850s."
